13 Reasons Why Not To TAG

My incredible blogger friends Denny and Sophia were kind enough to tag me in this challenge.

So…I have been unknowingly stewing in a pit of depression for a big portion of my life. And I can’t say I have never had suicidal thoughts or attempts, but that’s a story for another day. Here is my list of the things that would make me stop from jumping the metaphorical bridge (I hope I can come up with 13 of them!):

The beach, sunset, hot sand, cold breeze

Bookstores, books, thoughts in letters, brains on paper

Art galleries, exposed souls, hidden gems

Chocolate, bitterness, endorphins

My boyfriend, curly hair, tickling beard, warm hugs

Forest, tall trees, wafting pine smell

Rain, teardrops, wet conscious

And here are some pictures:

Tate Modern Art Museum, London, UK
Amble Side Beach, Vancouver, BC
Joffre Lakes Provincial Park, BC
Joffre Lakes Provincial Park, BC

What are your reasons?

  1. The Tate picture is perfect as a depiction of a jumbled, chaotic, but interesting mind. The other three pictures lend a calming effect to the first.
Your thirteen reasons are thought provoking but I am going to find a replacement for the tickling beard.
