Question Tuesday!

You guys are amazing!

I have a few pending nominations for blogger awards, so I am going to do all of them in one post!

You see, all my organizer energy is spent at work, leaving me with a disoriented and chaotic brain for blogging (I have nothing else up my sleeve!)

Yet, I want to reply to all the awards and express my gratitude, so I am compiling all the bloggers’ questions and the result is a post that will hopefully help you to get to know me better (if you want to).

Why Tuesday? I don’t know, it has a nice ring to it, plus today I feel particularly less lazy.

The spectacular bloggers that nominated me and you should definitely check out (if I am missing anyone please knock some sense into me!):

Tales from the mind of Kristian

Sophia Ismaa Writes

All The Shoes I Wear

From Kristian:

What has been the most unexpected result of blogging for you?

That I stuck to it! I never thought I’d have the discipline to continuously post and not get discouraged. It is surprisingly fun! (knock on wood)

When they set up a new city on Mars would you choose to stay on Earth or move to Mars?
One way ticket? I don’t know, if you’d ask me a year ago, I would’ve jumped up and said yes. But no, the more I get to know myself the more I discover I am very grounded and earth-bound.

Ideally would you prefer to live in a city or in the country, or in the Suburbs?

I always thought I was a big city girl. But then, I moved to Victoria,BC, and fell in love with the quiet town life.

What was the last book you picked up?

Jordan Peterson’s 12 Rules for Life.

What would you say your least attractive personality trait is?

Lack of empathy.

From Sophia:

Do you believe in ghosts?

I’d like them to exist, but deep down I don’t believe that they do. Although it depends on the definition of “ghost”. If we think of it as an energy of the person that remains in the past, or perhaps, the present and future, then yes.

If a being looked at earth from a far enough distance when I am dead, they would still see me as alive, I guess that would be the ghost of me; light traveling through infinite space.

What is your favourite book?

This is a tough one. Among many books, I love White Fang by Jack London.

What is your favourite film?

Another tough one. I adore American beauty (1999).

Who is your favourite celebrity and why?

These are only getting harder. I like John Green (is he a celebrity?), his mind works in ways that never fail to astound me.

Who is the most powerful person in your life? (Emphasis on power).

I’d like to be the most powerful person. But currently, my OCD thoughts are reigning.

Favourite song at the moment?

Metallica, Atlas Rise.

What is your dream job?

Travel Writing! Although, it might remain just a dream!

Describe your worst dinner party (use your imagination!).

The one where I ate chicken out of politeness.

Invent a new word and provide a definition.

Ooh fun. Sometimes I invent non-existing French words:

Titelefaux (pronounced: Titilifoo): A word that one utters in desperation asking “why?”, when someone does something unpleasant and you don’t understand why they did it.

You are rapper who has reached world-wide fame, what is your rapper name?

MC Perfunctory (Anybody gets the reference?)

Tell us the worst or funniest reason that got you in detention or in trouble.

When I was 3-4, my younger brother pissed me off, so I held a spoon to the stove and then mercilessly plunged it into his leg. I immediately regretted it, but the damage was done!

And last but not least, from Laura:

When was the last time you felt pure joy?

Last night, when I finally got reunited with my bed!

What made you laugh until you cried?

My boyfriend made up this silly joke in response to a guy who commented on my body.

The guy: “You are all legs.
Me (what, according to my boyfriend, I should’ve said): “ Oh, you’re all forehead”.

*The guy was bald

What’s the silliest thing you do when alone?

I turn up the music and then just dance in uncontrolled and not-so-poised moves.

What’s the weirdest thing you’ve ever experienced?

Sleep paralysis, when I am half awake, half asleep and it feels like someone is sitting on my chest and I can’t get up.

Have you ever been to a haunted place?

I don’t think so. Although I think of all historical and old places haunted by the past.

Thank you again for the nominations. I am so thankful.

If anyone has more questions please leave them below, maybe we can make Question Tuesday a thing!

*The guy was bald – oh god, I feel bad but I laughed hard. 😂😂
My face when I read your reason for getting in trouble: 🤭.
American Beauty is such an amazing film, it really somehow manages to keep your eyes glued to the screen.
P.S you must try dancing unabashedly and I gracefully in front of people. One of the most liberating feelings ever!

    1. I was a vicious little kid haha
And i do dance ” unabashedly” sometimes in public, mostly when I have had a few drinks in me 😀
